The End
Well it's back home today. I had a great time. Got a little sun walking back and forth to the convention center. Packed up all those goodies last night. I did wind up going to buy an extra bag to pack everything and of course they both were over weight. But in the end it would have been about the same to ship so what else is new. I have some really nice collections to auction off and trade. Learned that you gotta stay till the very end that's when all the leftover goodies go out. There were books, bags pens etc.. Next year it's big shipping boxes and less clothes. LOL
It will nice to get home and see my Dad and Ms. Libby the Bull Terrier. My Dad thinks he's doggy sitting little does he now she's Daddy sitting. I'm sure I hear all about it from both of them what's been happening and what all I missed. Nothing like a welcome from and exuberant Bull terrier to liven up your day, and let you know you've been missed.
I'll try to dig out my program and post the winning authors for 2008 some are familiar some are ones we need to keep on the radar. The life time achievement winner was !84! she came up to the podium to accept her Award on her walker. Gotta love it. She said she would continue to write and always talk about love. She gets the ultimate high five and you go GIRL!!!!!!
Well more later.

You tell Me who is your Mr Romance 2009
Who will be Mr. Romance 2009? It all comes down to Saturday’s competition at the Romantic Times Booklovers convention in Orlando. But even if you can’t be with us as the guys strut their stuff down the runway, you can at least cast a vote for your favorite. So check out their info below and let us know what you think in the poll at the bottom.
Franco D’Angelo

A professional wrestler from Fort Worth, TX with a huge…championship belt. His music tastes include Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, along with Rage Against the Machine.
Jimi Gaskin
Mr. Romance 2008 2nd runner up. A physics/computer science major at the University of Hawaii, originally from Houston.“If I were a car, I would be a Land Rover. They’re classy, elite, and can go anywhere, but ultimately look better when they’re scratched and dinged up.”

Konstantinos Lelis

Brings whole new meaning to the phrase“It’s all Greek to me.” Although currently living in Florida, Lelis must be incredibly exotic because a Google search pulls up only pages in foreign languages.
Charles Paz
Birthday boy (April 3) Charlie is the Main Man over at ModelMayhem and a bodybuilder to boot. But does this California dude have the strength to survive an RT weekend?
Stefan Pinto

So hot, he’s appeared on USA Network’s Burn Notice. He’s also been a correspondent for Miami’s Fashion Week and represented ChaCha Boys Swimwear on the runways.
Jeremy Rivenburg

Another under-the-radar kind of guy. But with those smoldering blue eyes, what else needs to be said about this Floridian?
Eric Truglia

An Italian stallion just rarin’ to jump out of the gate.Tall? Check. Dark? Check. Handsome? You decide!
What do you think??? Mr Romance 2009???
Is Charles Paz the Next Mr. Romance?
Ladies, I’d like to introduce you to Charles Paz, one of the candidates for Mr. Romance this year at the Romantic Times Convention. If you’re at the convention don’t be shy, say hello. I wrote Charles yesterday afternoon and he was such a sweetie to text me his responses right away. Isn’t he wonderful? You can find him on Facebook and ModelMayhem!

Long Long Long day
Rumors and more rumors. Seems like there is smoke coming from the EC camp. Question is are they doing as well as they want everyone to think? Skimpy on the outlays this year or are they just holding back for their own weekend? Why is their weekend practically the same price as RT? Even the authors are whispering, poor support for books and writers. Well we'll see how this plays out in the near future.
On to happier this YEAH! one of my very fav authors made it! Carol Lynne flew in after having her gallbladder out yesterday. Now that's dedication. I got to navigate for her editor to the airport to pick her up whoooooooo. So nice I was invited to gab a bite to eat with them so I tagged along. I'm trying to get Carol to come down to Atlanta for a book signing. There are several gay and lesbian book stores there. A great one is located right smack dap in midtown called Out Right Books. They have all types of authors doing book signing. From straight political to flaming Rue Paul...
Today was more of a working day I hit some of the workshops. Emarketing, blogging marketing. Got in some signing of my computer, this is gonna be so cool when it's done.Played Bunko for the first time today. all I can say there has to be a LOT of liqueur involved in this. But yeah I won a prize for the least games won. Cool.
The Fairy Ball was tonight. More people that last year seemed to be dressed up. they had some really great costumes. I didn't see Mary Wine in her incredible outfit she had on last year. More men in the pageant yeah but no hotties. seems like they have been told to be on their best behavior. Well enough for tonight I got some dancing to do and another party to get to after this one. See ya'll tomorrow! Nite Nite...
