Review: Born to be Wilde by Janelle Denison

Lora Marshall is unknowingly put in danger by her brother, Zach, who struggles with gambling addiction. Her brother hires Joel Wilde to protect her until the danger is over.

Joel's life was saved by Zach while they were in the marines, so he doesn't hesitate to help Zach out. It doesn't hurt that he has been interested in Lora since seeing her picture.

This was my first time reading anything in the Wilde series. It was hot and Joel is a to die for hero. He is sexy and tortured which, in my opinion, are the best kinds. Lora is a character who, in the face of danger, doesn't crumble or try to fix things herself. I liked reading about a heroine who had normal reactions and I was able to identify with her more. The only thing I didn't like, was Lora's best friend, Sydney. Her constant man-bashing got old fast, and the scenes with her halted my reading experience. Even with that, this is a great book to read for any Wilde fan, or someone who is a Wilde virgin.

I just bought this book tonight, along with The Wilde Side. I had the others, but these new ones got lost in my ever increasing lists of new releases. But if Ash bought it than you know I want it too LOL
